The Mental Health and Wellbeing Awards are a UK-wide celebration of excellence in mental health and well-being interventions, plus the celebration of inspirational mental health stories. Hosted by the Mental Health Awareness Programme, the awards launched in 2019 and are free to enter. Entries close in January and winners are announced at an awards ceremony held in September.

Judged by a panel representing clinicians and national mental health organisations, the awards cover the following categories:

  1. innovative mental health intervention.
  2. innovative proactive wellbeing activity.
  3. long-term impact (open to reactive or proactive interventions).
  4. the lifestyle award (evidence of lifestyle change in a population).
  5. outstanding contribution to the mental health and wellbeing sector.
  6. inspirational story (categories for children and adults).

Judges from:

  • Mindwise
  • Mental Health First Aid England
  • the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust
  • the University of Southampton

Entries are closed for the 2020 awards.

Awards Ceremony

The Mental Health and Wellbeing Awards Ceremony is set to be an inspirational evening, with all of our amazing professional entries shared by our celebrity host, in addition to announcing the winners:

  3. biggest long-term impact.
  4. the lifestyle award.
  5. outstanding contribution to the mental health and wellbeing sector.
  6. inspirational story (categories for children and adults).

Our virtual Black Tie awards ceremony will be held at 8.30pm on 26th June.
